To enter, simply leave a comment on this post or on our Facebook page and let me know what’s happening in your neighborhood. Have you been brought together by celebration, calamity or crisis? Do you look at your neighbors differently now? Has God opened doors on your street? Or maybe you’re convicted about loving your neighbor, but haven’t quite made that first step toward conversation.

TWO winners will be selected on Friday, May 13!

Thank you for inviting me into your neighborhoods, homes and churches in the past year! We’ve emailed, chatted, blogged, texted, talked and prayed together about fulfilling Christ’s #2 Command fearlessly and faithfully. We’ve hosted dinners, retreats and special events to equip and encourage women to love their neighbors in a whole new way. You have made my joy complete!

I found out my neighbor Jerry was blind and could only eat microwave meals because using the stove was to dangerous for him. So I now take him dinner every evening so he can have a home cooked meal. He’ll be 80 next February and is stuck at home so visits make his day. I’m so glad I visited with him and realized he wasn’t eating very healthy. Now we both have a friend.

Sweet Lori, that is the whole point of Christ’s #2 Command! Your neighbor is blessed and I know he blesses you, too!

I have a neighbor who has dealt with depression the past year and a half. Lately, she and her husband have also been very sick making her depression worse. I have have the privilege of bringing food and words of truth using scripture, and praying with her and for her. She went thru a time of no hope. Jesus is slowly healing her. God is putting several others in mylife, who deal with depression and using me to help them. Had I not done the “how to love your neighbor” study, I would not have realized those hurting around me. #humbled #loveurneighbor

“Praying with and for her” is indeed a privilege! I don’t know what path you have walked that gave you insight and compassion for those struggling with depression, but God is using your soft heart to heal tender places. I’m grateful for small part my book may have played, but you are the bigger hero!

Oh I am so Not a hero! LoL. God is moving and the Holy Spirit is opening hearts in our area. There have been many suicides Around here in the last couple of years. Three young people not too far away, took their lives this past week. Your book has shown me the need to be a neighbor to those around me and to share the hope of Jesus. My husband and I are determined to reach out, something that I was not comfortable doing in the past. It has been and will continue to be a amazing journey for the rest of my life. To God be all the glory!
